\nPosition Summary
\nWe're looking for a Project Manager who thrives on juggling multiple priorities at once and genuinely enjoys the pace of the events industry. This is a hands-on, in-person role based in our Tampa office, ideal for someone with a background in DMC, hotel, or event/meeting planning who is proactive, resourceful, and driven to grow. You'll own event execution end-to-end — from proposal through onsite delivery and final reconciliation — while partnering closely with our Account Executive team and clients.
\nThe ideal candidate is a natural multi-tasker with a go-getter attitude: someone who anticipates problems before they happen, communicates clearly under pressure, and takes real ownership of their projects. Strong Excel skills, a team-first mindset, and a genuine passion for customer service are essential.
\nWhat You'll Do
\n• Lead planning and execution for corporate events including incentives, tradeshows, conferences, sales meetings, and customer experiences
\n• Serve as the primary client liaison on assigned programs, delivering consistent, high-touch communication and service
\n• Build and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and meeting specifications for every program
\n• Research and secure venues and vendors; manage proposals, site inspections, and contract negotiations
\n• Manage attendee registration, communications, and event platforms
\n• Lead weekly project team meetings and oversee all logistical planning, from A/V to F&B to transportation
\n• Direct onsite teams, troubleshoot issues in real time, and ensure quality control throughout each program
\n• Prepare final billing and complete full budget reconciliation for each event
\n• Juggle multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities without dropping the details
\n \nWhat You Bring
\n• 3–5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Event Planner, or similar role — DMC, hotel conference services, or third-party planning background strongly preferred
\n• At least 2-3 years of hands-on onsite event management experience
\n• Strong working knowledge of hotel operations, A/V production, F&B planning, site selection, and contract negotiation
\n• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and complex, competing deadlines simultaneously
\n• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, plus proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint)
\n• A proactive, go-getter attitude — someone who spots what needs to happen next and takes initiative without being asked
\n• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
\n• A true team player who brings a positive, collaborative energy and strong customer-service instincts
\n• Ability to work independently, stay flexible, and make sound decisions quickly under pressure
\n• Willingness to travel, including occasional weekends, for onsite program delivery
\n• Ability to sit for extended periods and stand for long stretches onsite; ability to lift up to 25 lbs
\n• Bachelor's degree preferred; CMP certification a plus
